Work Experience

Quality Engineer

Endress+Hauser
Pessano con Bornago (MI)

10/2025 – Present

Quality control management of one of the 3 minifactories, internal side. Development of technical projects for industrial quality monitoring and improvement:

  • Monitoring of quality standards, process parameters, instrument calibration, traceability, and documentation (SAP, QCP, OPL, work instructions).
  • Analysis of scrap and rework rates, trend identification, process confirmation (T-Card), and participation in Daily Shopfloor Management meetings.
  • Management of internal and supplier NCs, as well as the internal scope of customer complaints, structured problem solving (8D, A3, 5Why, Ishikawa), and coordination and verification of corrective action effectiveness.
  • Conducting weekly PDCA meetings and implementing related actions, supporting escalation processes.
  • Delivering training on standards and documentation and certifications.
  • Supporting change management, participating in PFMEA, defining QCP and statistical controls implementing Poka-Yoke systems.
  • Proposing and coordinating Kaizen activities and managing quality/process improvement projects.
  • Facilitating and leading working groups composed of professionals of various seniority levels and roles. Responsible for managing line-driven continuous improvement proposals and coordinating the internal scope of corrective actions (short-term, permanent, and preventive).
  • Application of Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

In my role I report to the Chemical, Food & Pharma Mini Factory Responsible (Temperature Business Unit) in Pessano con Bornago's plant.

Quality Engineer
(Projects & Training)

Endress+Hauser

10/2025 – Present

Projects:

  • Conceptualized and developed a Proof of Concept (PoC) "Quality KPI Root Filter AI" [Demo & Case Study] to monitor manufacturing KPIs (FPY, PPM, OTD, Rework) by decoding product configuration codes. Engineered a Python/SQLite data architecture (SAP ME & Snowflake) and integrated local agentic AI models (Llama 3 via Ollama) to enable natural language querying via Streamlit, leveraging cutting-edge AI assistance to optimize and accelerate the development cycle.

Professional Training (Endress+Hauser):

  • White & Yellow Belts ([Certificates])
  • Digital Project Management: Project management principles (ROI, BEP, etc.) with a focus on AI introduction.
  • Apprenticeship: Cross-functional Module (Communication & Law).
  • Leadership Lab (2026): Communication Lab.
  • Anti-Corruption & Anti-Bribery (2026).
  • Cyber Security (2026).

Production Operator (Seasonal)

Endress+Hauser
Pessano con Bornago (MI)

08/2025 – 09/2025

Production line activities, first-level quality control, and direct familiarization with the plant's internal logistics flows and production standards.

Other Experiences

Catering & Service Industry Experience

Various companies in Italy and abroad

2013 – 2025

Long-term collaborations in various sectors (restaurants, bars, supermarkets, warehouse logistics, and greenhouses), working as a waiter, bartender (with independent evening management of venues), and warehouse worker. Developed strong adaptability, reliability, stress management, and teamwork skills in dynamic environments.

Education and Training

Bachelor of Science in Physics

Università degli Studi di Milano
Milano (MI), Italy

10/2017 – Present

Physics-focused academic path with emphasis on physical, mathematical, and computational disciplines.
Thesis defense expected: September 2026.

Theoretical-Computational Thesis: "Computational simulation of nuclear deformations using Orbital-Free Density Functional Theory (OF-DFT)" [Thesis Outline].

  • Development of Python and C++ code for the numerical resolution of theoretical models of atomic nuclei.
  • Computational data analysis and validation of results on light and heavy nuclei.
  • Work-Study Balance: Academic progress achieved while working continuously to achieve financial independence. Transitioning from a Human Sciences background to Physics required substantial initial self-study, culminating in the completion of all course exams in November 2024. Currently finalizing the thesis defense in parallel with professional employment.

High School Diploma (Human Sciences)

Liceo Statale "Virgilio"
Milano (MI), Italy

09/2010 – 06/2016

Final grade: 79/100.

Projects & Extracurricular Activities

Creation of Simulation Software for Physics Thesis

UNIMI, Università degli Studi di Milano (MI)

10/2024 – 08/2025

Conceptualization and development of a numerical simulation script (Python, C++) for nuclear deformations and energy reconstruction.

Development of numerical simulation software in Python and C++ for the analysis of deformed nuclei using Orbital-Free Density Functional Theory (OF-DFT). Parallel implementation of the Numerov algorithm for the reconstruction of 2nd-order differential equations and optimization of input parameters (A, Z, nuclear deformation parameters). The project required the application of multicore programming techniques, fixed-precision computing, and advanced numerical algorithms (minimum search, regression, interpolation), combined with algorithmic debugging activities to study model convergence limits [Code & Results].

Co-founding and Logistics Coordination

Social Promotion Association (APS) and Local Collective, Milan (MI)

01/2024 – 03/2025

Establishment, logistics management, and field reporting for an international humanitarian aid network.

Active participation in the founding and evolution of a Social Promotion Association (APS) originating from a local collective, coordinating the logistics and shipping of international humanitarian aid. Managed external relations with third-party organizations to collect materials and funds across Italy (Milan, Rome, Padua and more). Guided on-the-ground operational missions for aid transport and compiled detailed field reports to document local population conditions. Collaborated on the setup of the association's digital communication infrastructure (email systems and website administration) [Field Reports].
